recents // sweet 16th

HEYYYYY LOVELIES. Sorry I havent been blogging much lately due to revision and all - this shall be my last post before Os commence. I hope everyone is well, and for those taking exams right now or soon - all the best and study hard! (applies to myself bc i keep procrastinating). So this post will be on what I've been up to recently and my sweet 16th heh, enjoy!!

Maki-san with bud a month ago after fitness run. I wish they'd open one at Jurong so we don't have to go all the way to douby ghaut for this amazing shit :( oh and we had churros at Spanish Donuts after that and it was pretty good but rather oily. Joce thought that the icing they sprinkled really wasn't necessary tho.

Had DTF with the girls bc we were craving for it so bad. And can we all just take a moment to look at that cute yellow crab the chef placed in the middle of those XLBs HAHA uber cute.

Oh, I've been shopping on Qoo10 a lot lately because most of their products are wayyy cheaper than those sold in stores (but do be careful as there are always risks in online shopping) So, I bought these twistbands bc i thought the colours were lovely and it was like only $0.7 for one. The elasticity was pretty good considering the price, but I did found another shop that sold it for $0.45 tho hmm… (becoming an auntie soon haha) 

SWEET 16TH 

Jojo told me this works well so I decided to get it for myself as a birthday gift (yeah the excuses I give myself LOL). She said this would be good as a double mask - Use this and use a moisturizing sheet mask afterwards. So do give this a try if your're keen, it helps to brighten the skin, remove impurities and also reduce pores. A rather large bottle for $32 but i got it at only $26 bc there was bday month dicount hehe. I splurge too much on skincare but its all so worth it, I mean, its so much cheaper than going for facials. Right? Right??? 

Pre-bday dinner. Love Jack's Place lobster bisque!!! So rich and creamy. But I had diffuculty breathing then due to the bad ventilation in the restaurant sigh. 

One of the house special steaks, I can't recall the name. 

Chose this dress at the last minute out of my wardrobe bc i couldnt decide what to wear. I'm glad to have made the impromtu decision tho, this was a pretty dress. And it used to be my mum's HAHA. 

UNICORN ONESIE

I kinda partied on my own at midnight oops. So I showed my maid (she was half asleep) this  and she was like "so cute" then the next day she woke up she told me she thought she was dreaming last night and saw a unicorn omg.

Take a bow?? Oh, and really thank you to all those who have wished me happy birthday on ig!! I really really appreciate it but didn't reply personally because there were like 50 comments. But really, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH I LOVE U GUYS :-) 

Present from mummy and uncle!! I already have a 13-inch one so they bought me an 11-inch one bc it will be more handy and useful to bring to poly next timeeee. I love mac so much that I don't think I'll ever go back to using windows.

Thanks bud bud for coming over and surprising me w/ waffles, a card and a tiara (yes i'm a princess, and no, I don't really care if i ever get judged hahaha) I was so sad because I couldn't go out w/ her for waffles that day so she actually came over and passed these to me. Super grateful and touched awwww :')

Went for a long walk alone this morning, initially wanted to run but i was too tired. I actually went up that tiny pagoda and enjoyed the lake breeze and just think about life haha ok tmi. 

Study sesh at Starbucks this afternoon. Did some maths so I guess it was rather productive……

weekend joys

Ok, so this post isn't entirely about weekends but i'm just that bad at giving my posts a title so forgive me pls hahaha.

Got this from samplestore the other day and it's sooooooo good. I especially love the lavendar one bc it's my fave scent hehe. Even my room diffuser is in lavedar scent so my room smells like lavendar. Anyways, so I actually fell asleep with this mask on hahaha. It was just so warm and nice and makes you wanna cuddle in bed and fall asleep. 

Grandma treated me my fave thunder tea rice at the market. So healthy and yummy - brown rice somemoe HAHAHA. 

The last minute "grab-and-go" costume for RHD. It's really pretty tho. Oh and the picture with the pretty indian princess emily, zhor zhor and nuan nuan hehe. PS. the mt cher allowed us to take pictures so like why not right :P 

Because grandma wasn't home one evening so me and my helper decided to make pasta for ourselves hehe. Many shrooms, ba chor and prawns with some cheddar cheese on top. 

Made these chocolate cupcakes from Betty Crockers premix yesterday. The kids had fun helping my crack them eggs and stiring the batter hahaha. Made about 10 batches in total so that's about 70 cupcakes omg. It turned out well in the end because you know what? Premixes can alsmost never go wrong *winks*

After gym and swimming earlier this morning. Candid shot haha i forgot to bring a comb that's why. 

Waited 3 hours for this omg. I checked wrong and thought the buffet starts at 12 but it actually starts at 3. So we went to walk around in JEM, westgate and then settled down in the library for some chit-chat session. That 3 hours was worth the wait in the end. This is the sakae buffet in Jcube, there were't many people there today, in fact, at some point we were the only table occupied omg. But the food was like great and the price were really affordable ($20+, free flow) so I couldn't understand why ahhaha.

Ate so many ebiko gunkan, I LOVE EBIKO SUSHI LIKE ASDFGHJKLIDK like I think I ordered this 4 times oops. 

The total plates turned out to be more value then what we paid for hehe yay. Skipped dinner because this was wayyyy too filling. Ended up 2.5hours in the restaurent chatting and feasting like gluttons :P it was funnnnnnnnnn.

THE BEST PART? There's no school tomorrow!!! HEHEH :P SELAMAT HARI RAYA ^^

Beef brisket with mash potatoes - okay this was like super duper yummy. The beef was so flavourful and that vanilla cake was so soft and sweet x

Okay so in conclusion, this trip was really relaxing and it feels like i really took a short break from the hustle and bustle of the city. This was my first time there and surprisingly there weren't many tourists. --------- THANKS FOR READING <3 --------
