weekend joys

ALOHA GUISE!!! :-)
Ok, so this post isn't entirely about weekends but i'm just that bad at giving my posts a title so forgive me pls hahaha.
Got this from samplestore the other day and it's sooooooo good. I especially love the lavendar one bc it's my fave scent hehe. Even my room diffuser is in lavedar scent so my room smells like lavendar. Anyways, so I actually fell asleep with this mask on hahaha. It was just so warm and nice and makes you wanna cuddle in bed and fall asleep.

Grandma treated me my fave thunder tea rice at the market. So healthy and yummy - brown rice somemoe HAHAHA.

The last minute "grab-and-go" costume for RHD. It's really pretty tho. Oh and the picture with the pretty indian princess emily, zhor zhor and nuan nuan hehe. PS. the mt cher allowed us to take pictures so like why not right :P

Because grandma wasn't home one evening so me and my helper decided to make pasta for ourselves hehe. Many shrooms, ba chor and prawns with some cheddar cheese on top.
Made these chocolate cupcakes from Betty Crockers premix yesterday. The kids had fun helping my crack them eggs and stiring the batter hahaha. Made about 10 batches in total so that's about 70 cupcakes omg. It turned out well in the end because you know what? Premixes can alsmost never go wrong *winks*
After gym and swimming earlier this morning. Candid shot haha i forgot to bring a comb that's why.

Waited 3 hours for this omg. I checked wrong and thought the buffet starts at 12 but it actually starts at 3. So we went to walk around in JEM, westgate and then settled down in the library for some chit-chat session. That 3 hours was worth the wait in the end. This is the sakae buffet in Jcube, there were't many people there today, in fact, at some point we were the only table occupied omg. But the food was like great and the price were really affordable ($20+, free flow) so I couldn't understand why ahhaha.
Ate so many ebiko gunkan, I LOVE EBIKO SUSHI LIKE ASDFGHJKLIDK like I think I ordered this 4 times oops.
The total plates turned out to be more value then what we paid for hehe yay. Skipped dinner because this was wayyyy too filling. Ended up 2.5hours in the restaurent chatting and feasting like gluttons :P it was funnnnnnnnnn.

THE BEST PART? There's no school tomorrow!!! HEHEH :P SELAMAT HARI RAYA ^^
Thanks for reading this short post y'all <3

June Favourites x

Hello people who actually reads this space! So June passed really really quickly, had to go back to school for the first week, slacked the second week, Thailand the third week and AEM the last. And BAM, it was July before I knew it. Is it just me or this year is passing waaaaay too quickly and i'm taking Os in like 4 months omg.

Okay anyways, back to what this post is suppose to be about - My June Faves hehe. I'm really fond of watching youtubers and reading blogs on other people's monthly favourite products and reviews so I hope you people will like this post!

1. Ellips Hair Vitamin (Pink - Hair Treatment)
Went in to SASA the other day and I asked the shop assistant for a product that makes the hair heat-resistant because I use my curling iron once in a while to curl my hair for special occasions (or just for fun really). She recommended this and I got it hehe. It makes my hair really soft and less frizzy on bad hair days so I really love this! You can find this at Sasa, Watsons and also CK if i'm not wrong. I got it for $2 with 12 capsules. Usually, 1 capsule can be used for up to 3 times on my hair so its pretty worth it.

2. Leaders Insolution (Wrinker Filler) Mask
Okay, you might be wondering why I'm using this mask for wrinkles at such a young age. The thing is, I have pre-mature wrinkles around my eyes since I was 13 due to eczema and I really hated having to cover them up with concealer all the time ugh. I've always been seeing this mask around in Watsons, Guardian retailing at about $3.50 so I thought it was pretty pricey for a sheet of mask. So the other day I went to Bugis and saw this shop selling at $2.50 so I just bought it straight away. Finally tried this on last night and it was like the best mask I've ever used. Unlike most masks, this mask is a little sheer and it really adheres to my face. I could see the results almost instantly after applying it for 20mins. My face was brighter and my skin felt supple. The wrinkles reduced and the fine lines are less obvious! YAY SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS BRAND <3333333333

3. Kiehl's Lip Balm #1
My lips chap really easily (idk if this is linked to ezcema) so I always re-apply my lip balm during daytime. I actually bring lip balm to class and apply it all the time hahaha omg. This product was given by my aunt who's a big fan of Kiehls because of their natural ingredients. I was skeptical at first because I'm someone who really focus on packaging of products, but I knew this was a pretty reputable brand in the market. So this product is slightly to the watery side, it isn't really a stick balm or anything close. I usually apply this before bed and wake up to soft, moisturised lips the next morning hehe, it has SPF 4 too (i don't see the point of spf 4 tbh). This retails at $17 at all Kiehls stores.

4. UV Aqua White CC Cream
I know most people would usually prefer BB creams and its more common, I have many BB creams but I hardly use them because I don't know why it just gets really cakey on my skin when I apply it and gives me uneven skintone. I was sponsored this by Sample Store (the above img is taken from their blog) and I really really love how it glides onto my skin and blends so well with my skin tone. Its kinda cool to see the colour turn from white to your own skin colour hahaha.

5. The Body Shop Shea Butter Body Butter
Shea butter have always been known for its moisturizing properties and I've always loved this product from TBS. I use this daily after showering and it makes my skin sooo smooth. This isn't the greasy kind of body butter which feels heavy and sticky after applying it so thumbs up! I bought this at a sale so I can't remember how much it costs.

That's the end of this post heh. A little wordy but still, thanks for reading ^^ Here's to a great month ahead!

Ps. Look forward to my Koh Samui post (:
